Oh yeah I have. I don’t really have an opinion on it I guess. I mean I guess it’s an indicator of that sorta thing where fashion-ass places or bands or whatever are appropriating anime aesthetics and “kawaii culture” and all that related junk and how it’s becoming/is really “trendy”. But I don’t think that’s really worth discussing tbh, its up to you to decide for yourself if something is earnest and when something isnt so whatever it’s all good.

When I went to UCDavis, I became a freeform radio DJ! & KDVS has meant a lot to me through the years. It was one of the reasons I considered staying in Davis (other than it’s a pretty cute town). It’s time for their annual fundraiser! KDVS staff & DJs do all the work ourselves, spending hours prepping for shows & maintaining the station to bring music to you from various genres, & even around the world. All the funding goes back to the station to keep it alive~ I could say more & spill my guts how much KDVS meant to me (&us?), but if you check out the KDVS airwaves you can get more info!
My ex-cohost/DJ-wife, Dr. Kelp, is going on air now (1-2:30pm) & you can get a glitter vinyl sticker I illustarted for her show Mahou Shoujo! [::here::] It’s red ink, on glitter!! and you can stick it on your car bumper! or, stick it on your skateboard, or something. Whoa!!
The show is about over, but you can still get a limited Mahou Shoujo 2014 sticker!
I think with Slime Girls, it’s always going to be a mix of genres and styles and just types of music I want to try and make that best suit the emotions or feelings I want to convey. But also I might end up having to start some side projects that aren’t Slime Girls in order to see out some other dreams. I have alot of songs and stuff on the backburner that is suppppper influenced by Ging Nang Boyz, Bomb the Music Industry!, Math the Band and Shinobu along with some others. I don’t really know the future of Slime Girls in particular past this next album I’m working on, but there is definetly alot of concepts and feelings I need to get out there musically. Maybe they’ll all just stay as Slime Girls and ya’ll can deal with one album being J-pop as hell, one album being barely chiptune or one album being me and my friends yelling so loud our voices break. Who knows, but short answer: absolutely yes
making this game means the world to me
OMORI is a surreal psychological horror RPGmaker game. You must travel between two worlds, both welcoming, both concealing the same secrets. Meet new (old) people, fight new (old) enemies, explore your own memories, and uncover some hidden truths along the way (although you wish you hadn’t.) When the time comes, you can only choose one.
OMORI is a character has been described as a “depressed otaku.”He started off as a character who lived on a blog, which lasted from December 2011 until March 2012.
OMOCAT always envisioned OMORI as a game; and with the help of some friends (and you), the OMORI video game can be brought to life.
Please go help fund OMORI!
This project means alot to me, all of us really. It’ll be my first real venture into composing for a video game and we’re all working really hard to create a wonderful experience for ya’ll~
